from Super Mario Bros. The Movie. There are always things to complain about when film adaptations of comic books are released. In the last Spiderman movie, Venom was just...just awful. This one is no different. Though I understand that by making him look more like a man with lizard like features, they have the ability to show more emotion in his facial expression, I can't help but think that, if that IS the reason, it's a huge cop-out. I would have much more respect for them as film makers, had they made his face more like Lizard in the comics, because I understand the difficulty there in. Plus I'm a fanboy and damnit, I want Lizard to look the way he is supposed to!

The really unfortunate thing is that the Goombas actually still look cooler and more real than the Lizard since they were guys in suits. CG Lizard? Just looks fake.
It was actually Twitter where I saw these comparisons. Each time a new article about the Lizard would pop up so would dozens of tweets. After a certain point it just wasn't clever anymore.
